The way we think about society is a big part of making society the way it is. Conventional papers report the news of our blandness and petty struggles. But news can be transformative if it arises from recognition of what is truly important, how that is thwarted, and a means to achieve it.

We want to confront the mediocrity of the everyday, to reclaim the self-evident, to make the obvious impossible to deny. Visionary News is a middle stage in the process of understanding and action, which is the goal of Visionary Society, and of which it is a part.
