Science Fiction Film “Secret World: Crude Space"
Secret World is a vision into the future, laced with much satire. It’s “Romeo and Juliet meets “1984” meets “South Park”.
Secret World is a progressive science fiction story that tells the tale of two worlds which suddenly come together. A corporeal species, the “Royalsians” survey two worlds: Secret World is thriving and robust, with one sole continent dominating the planet, a super-sized Anchorage of sort. The people are spoiled, ruthless and have everything at their disposal. Strolling robots do most of the menial work for “Secretarians.” Another burden that has been lifted off the Secretarian race is the fact that the people have been unable to conceive for the last fifteen years, save for one fluke.
The second world that the “Royalsians” monitor is the dying world of Terrarus. Completely barren, save for one patch of green, the planet is a nightmarish shell of a globe that once festered endless industries and skyscrapers. Terrarus has long since been plagued and bombed out. Now the “red-death” is soon to take the last of the adults. This will leave tens of thousands of children homeless. One brave boy, “Jake” can “see” the Royalsians and makes a plea for help.
Imagine a typical Hollywood trailer (film preview). Now imagine an entire movie moving at this pace. The producer has attempted to pace the action and dialogue of this story to match the pace of thought. In this way, we believe we have a “cutting-edge” film on our hands.
Vanya Marinkovic grew up in Alaska and recently has spent several years in Los Angeles. She has appeared in several international commercials and after doing bits in the film industry, Vanya landed a prime time spot on TV’s Women of Wrestling, where she played the crazed “Jacklyn Hyde”. Vanya then starred in several pilots.
The dream and the shoe-string budget are a call for interest and action from fellow Alaskans. Vanya Marinkovic believes that this project would not only be beneficial for the plethora of local talent in Anchorage, but to Alaska as a whole.
Potential investors/sponsors, film crew of every capacity, with or without equipment and talent are asked to contact Vanya Marinkovic.
